online trust

I started work on the topic of trust in e-commerce when I was doing my MSc in HCI at UCL. I went on to conduct doctoral research on this topic at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in The Netherlands.

My research was part of the Enabling Electronic Commerce research initiative set up between the University of Tilburg and the TU/e. My supervisors were Prof Don Bouwhuis, Prof John Long and Dr Panos Markopoulos. Additional members of the thesis committee were Prof Harold Thimbleby, Prof Pam Briggs and Prof Martin Wetzels.

I was awarded my PhD in Human-Computer Interaction on Dec. 11th, 2003.
